Established commercial construction company based in Lindenhurst, NY is seeking reliable carpenters who are experienced in the areas listed below. Must have own transportation and be willing to learn. OSHA training provided if necessary. English a plus. We are a company that values good employees! Carpenters / Carpenter Foreman wanted with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the following areas:
Layout
Metal stud framing
Soffit / fascia framing
Acoustical ceilings with black iron
Installation of doors, frames, hardware
Drywall / corner bead installation

Work Location:
Multiple locations

Typical start time:
7AM
Typical end time:
3PM

Pay Frequency:
Weekly

Job Duties:
Reading and interpreting blueprints
Understanding customer requirements
Managing peers (dividing job tasks, working as a team)
Managing or working with subcontractors
Knowledge of building codes and regulations
Knowledge of job site safety rules and regulations (OSHA)
Knowledge of methods, tools, and equipment used in carpentry

Hourly pay: USD $22 - $39 Per Hour + OT
