Purchasing Jobs in New York
A Purchasing Manager for the construction industry is responsible for buying goods, materials, and services on behalf of the company to ensure necessary operations continue smoothly. It's essential that they possess strong negotiation and communication skills, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to analyze market trends. A certification, such as a Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) or a Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), can demonstrate a high level of professionalism and proficiency in the field.
