Pipefitter Jobs in Star, ID
A Pipefitter or Steamfitter is an essential figure in the construction industry, who primarily installs, assembles, fabricates, maintains, and repairs mechanical piping systems. A Pipefitter is expected to earn certification in their field, like the Journeyman Pipefitter certification, or the Certified Pipe Welding (CPW) certification, depending upon the area of expertise. Additionally, Pipefitters must obtain necessary licensure, which varies by state and may require a passing score on an exam.
