Mason Jobs in Massachusetts

In terms of skills and certifications, Masons must have a good physical condition, precise hand-eye coordination, and the ability to comprehend construction plans. They should have an understanding of mathematics for calculations, measurements, and layout work. As for certifications, a high school diploma or equivalent is typically required. Formal masonry training, either through a vocational school program or apprenticeship, is usually preferred. Before becoming Masons, individuals may work as Masonry Helpers, Construction Laborers, or Apprentices under the supervision of experienced Masons to gain necessary skills and experience.
