Civil Design Engineer (Level 1-3)

Salary: 70-110K Job Summary: We are seeking several Civil Design Engineers to join our client's growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will participate in and contribute to a diverse range of engineering projects and services within the renewable energy space in our team-oriented environment. Under the direction of experienced engineers, you will gain exposure to the renewable industry in Solar and Battery Storage projects. Overview: Our client is building out a renewable energy team and has 10 projects that are going to land shortly. They have the senior staff to manage but need support staff to design and perform the engineering calculations. Key Responsibilities: Complete civil engineering designs and generate construction plans and specifications, technical calculations, exhibits, and reports. Utilize Civil 3D, including alignments, profiles, and grading features, to produce engineered construction plans. Perform site visits to perform job scoping and coordinate with survey crews, environmental, electrical, Geotech, etc. Review client-provided information and topographic surveys to ensure data is sufficient for civil design. Follow project schedules and allotted hours by Project Manager and Technical Leads. Evaluate design alternatives to solve constructability, code, and site challenges. Skills and Requirements B.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution or equivalent Engineering B.S. 0-7 years of experience in civil engineering. Basic understanding of Site Grading & Storm Drainage, Erosion and Sediment Control, and Storm Water Best Management Practices. Ability to work as a team player, take direction, and interact well with others. Attention to detail, strong problem-solving, and good communication skills. Self-starter who can work independently and with team members.
