Welder

Our client, a leader in the heavy industrial sector, is seeking a Welder to join their team. As a Welder, you will be part of a dedicated workforce supporting the fire sprinkler industry. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Welder

Location: Groveport, OH

Pay Range: $21.00 - $26.00 Hourly

What's the Job?

• Be responsible for welding carbon outlets onto steel pipe to serve the fire sprinkler industry.
• Perform specialty welding tasks, including spool pieces and flanges.
• Conduct MIG welding with carbon steel and galvanized materials.
• Inspect work for defects, dimensions, alignment, and seam splits in the pipe.
• Maintain a clean and safe welding station while conforming to standards of quality and performance.

What's Needed?

• 1 year of MIG welding experience.
• 1 year of machine operation experience.
• General computer skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to arrive at the interview with a welding helmet for the weld test.
