A family owned and operated company for three generations, Chris George Custom Homes has always been centered around family. As one of 12 children, Chris George Jr. learned the construction business from his father, Chris Sr. who worked in both commercial and residential construction. In 1976, Chris Jr. took over the company and chose to focus exclusively on residential construction. Since then, the company has built new homes for over 2,500 families in the metro area over the last 40+ years. Upon graduating from college in the early 2000’s and after many summers of working for the company, Chris Jr’s two sons both went to work full time for the family business full time along-side their father, Uncle, and various other relatives who serve roles within the company. Chris III and Caleb now serve as the Vice Presidents of the company and they work directly with each homeowner through the entire process of building their new home. Over the years, the George family has worked very hard to develop a reputation for quality craftsmanship and integrity within the business, as shown with their online reviews on Facebook & Google as well as their A+ Better Business Bureau rating.
