In 1988, a group of community and congregational volunteers formed Maumee Valley Habitat for Humanity. Homes were rehabbed and eventually new homes were built. ReStore was added in 2004 and Home Repair Ministry in 2008.

200 homes and 300 plus repairs later, our focus remains on ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to own and live in safe and affordable housing. Through our tithe, our impact extends beyond Lucas County into developing countries like Ethiopia, Haiti and Tajikistan.

Everyone is invited to partner with us as a volunteer, sponsor, donor or advocate. Only with your hands, and time, and donations can we work towards fulfilling our vision of a world in which everyone has a decent place to live.

Maumee Valley Habitat is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI). While our work is focused upon Lucas County, Ohio, HFHI's vision is for the whole world. But our vision, mission, and commitment to serving all people is the same.

Our Vision: A world where everyone has a decent place to live.

Our Mission: Seeking to put God’s love in action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope.
