Description

As an Engineer, you will demonstrate skill and responsibility by consistently providing high-quality service to your internal customers (the Project Managers). This includes offering timely feedback and reliable information that enables Project Managers to confidently discuss project progress with external customers.For day-to-day success, you will be able to:Take ideas from initial concept through to productionDevelop, assess, and evaluate conceptual designsCreate detailed technical plans using computer-aided design programs including Solidworks and AutoCADApply mathematical and scientific skills to develop workable, real-world solutionsConsider implications of cost, safety, and time constraints in your designsSelect appropriate materials for assigned projectsPlan and design new production processesDevelop project specifications with colleagues across engineering disciplinesRigorously test products, projects, and infrastructureRecommend modifications based on prototype testing resultsBalance multiple projects while maintaining proper engineering principlesEstimate costs and timelines accuratelyMonitor installation and commissioning of new processes and systemsSupervise production when requiredPerform daily operations of design engineering and problem solvingDiscuss and solve complex problems collaboratively with the team and stakeholdersEnsure products perform consistently in their specified operating environmentsDevelop efficient solutions for both small components and large elementsStay current with international engineering trends and standardsConduct research and apply new knowledge to your workCollaborate effectively with professionals both within and outside engineeringAssist installation, testing, and commissioning in the field on an as-needed basis

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $44.00/hr.
