General Production - Machine Operator

General Machine Operator ($17-20/HR)** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated General Machine Operator responsible for tending to 1 to 3 Injection Mold Machines. Operators will start with one machine and gradually be trained on additional machines. The machines have run times ranging from 60 seconds to 3 1/2 minutes. As part of a contract manufacturing team, operators will handle 3 to 5 different products throughout the week. Responsibilities include visual inspection, packaging, small sub-assemblies, and operating a sonic welder. **Responsibilities** + Tend to 1 to 3 Injection Mold Machines. + Begin with one machine and receive training for additional machines. + Handle machines with run times from 60 seconds to 3 1/2 minutes. + Change over machines as needed. + Run 3 to 5 different products weekly. + Remove products from machinery using end-of-arm tooling and set onto inspection conveyor. + Conduct visual inspections and package products. + Perform small sub-assemblies as required. + Operate a sonic welder for tasks such as welding smoothie cups together or inserting magnets. + Trim excess flash from products. + Heat resin to meet quality standards. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a very clean, temperature-controlled environment with music playing overhead. The workplace is drama-free and not very physically demanding. Employees are divided into shifts, with around 20 people in production per shift. When overtime is posted, it is mandatory. First and second shifts may require 8 hours on the weekend, while third shift may require an extra 8 hours on Friday. Shifts include: 3rd Shift - 11PM-7AM (Sunday - Thursday, $2.00/hour shift differential), 2nd Shift - 3:00PM - 11:30PM (Monday - Friday, $1.00/hour shift differential), 1st Shift - 7:00AM - 3:30PM (Monday - Friday). **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
