Press Operator**
**$19.25/Hour!**
**Job Description**
We are an automotive sheet metal fabrication company located in the Columbus, Ohio area seeking a mechanical press operator. The role involves operating a basic press and reloading materials, contributing to the general production of sheet metal products for automobiles.
Candidates will train on first-shift Monday-Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm) for 3-4 months. after training candidates will switch to 3rd shift. 3rd shift hours are: Sunday 11:30pm-8am, M-Th 9:30p-8am
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate a mechanical press and reload materials.
+ Assist in the general production of sheet metal products for automobiles.
+ Handle sheet metal materials (40% of the time).
+ Help create sheet metal molds (40% of the time).
+ Perform facility clean-up duties (20% of the time).
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience with machine operation.
+ Self-motivated and able to work independently.
+ Proficient in quality control techniques.
+ Ability to use micrometers and calipers.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
