Oversee complex activities pertaining to contract development, selection and award, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and client specifications. Manage relationships with third party suppliers, vendors, consultants, and contractors. Provide support, development and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers.
Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with standard operating procedures and other applicable Federal, State, and local regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage a high- volume agreement portfolio with a value of less than $100,000.
- Experienced in creating, managing, dispositioning preventative maintenance (PM), calibration agreements specific concentration on refrigeration, HVAC, forklift.
- Analyze complex proposals and work with staff and vendors regarding contract specifications.
- Manage the development and solicitation of proposals, participate in negotiations, and administers contracts for goods and services.
- Monitor and maintain contract data.
- Develop contract status reports for management review.
- Ensure contracting activities comply with organization policies and procedures.
- Provide technical guidance to staff on contracting procedures.
- May act as project leader for projects.

Work independently and may instruct or coach other professionals. Need to prioritize work based on risk and value. Multi-task mindset required.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
Management Experience: N/A
Skills & Abilities: Great verbal and written communication skills. Fully proficient in personal computer use and Microsoft Office Suite. Review possible solutions using standard procedures. Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills. Ability to work on a team.
Travel: May travel and participate in meetings and conferences throughout Red Cross locations.
*Combination of candidates education and general experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate to descriptions minimum education and general experience years combined (Management experience cannot be substituted).

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The work environment will consist of moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones and printers, light traffic). The employee must have the ability to work in a small cubicle and have the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.

PAY INFORMATION: The annual salary range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000. We do not offer an annual bonus for this role. Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. **We will review specific salary information at the time of phone screening based upon your location & experience.**
