We're currently seeking a highly motivated Owners Authorized Representative located in Eastern Pennsylvania.
Overview:
CMTS LLC. is actively seeking a qualified individual to join our team who can demonstrate direct experience in various aspects as of construction management-project operations oversight - either vertical or flat installations, from mobilization to startup, commissioning, and closeout. This individual will be the owner's representative on individual projects, ensuring that each project follows the owner's vision and goals for the implementation of work including scheduling budgeting, and organizational continuity. Work opportunities will be in eastern Pennsylvania (north Philadelphia to New York state line).
Required Education:
- Preferable that candidates have four (4) years in architectural or engineering studies from an accredited institution with an understanding of construction protocols and procedures for safety, quality, labor relationships, and coordination of the work of other firms.
- Candidates with (5) years on-the-job training, with relevant studies in building codes and procedural steps.
- Candidates with verifiable work history in similar oversight roles that meet the requirements above for individual understanding of construction protocols and procedures for safety, quality, labor relationships, and coordination of the work of other firms, will be given fair and equal consideration.
Required Qualifications:
In order to become a candidate, you must possess the following skills and abilities.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in vertical and/or flat work construction from contractor mobilization to closeout.
- Demonstrated experience in monitoring contractor performance, ensuring quality material and workmanship are in accordance with plans and specifications.
- Experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant in an aggressive and rapidly growing firm that is client-centric is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee construction from conception to completion.
- Meet contractual conditions of performance including safety, quality, and coordination with owner operations.
- Review the work progress on daily basis via in-person (preferable), or virtual (if needed).
- Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
- Proactively plan with the owner and contractor(s) to mitigate risk and minimize potential project challenges.
- As requested by the owner, negotiate terms of agreement for changes either anticipated or planned.
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
Salary:
- $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
Bonus Pay:
A bonus may be granted to employees depending on individual performance, employee utilization, attendance, tenure, and furtherance of other non-financial corporate goals; bonus opportunities are available at management's discretion.
