We're currently seeking a highly motivated Construction Inspector located in Los Angeles, CA .

Required Education:

• HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED

Required Certifications/Licenses:

• 30-hour Cal-OSHA training prior to assignment. The 30-hour training should have been received within the last 4 years.

Required Qualifications:
In order to become a candidate, you must possess the following skills and abilities.

• 5 years or more of experience performing inspection of large-scale Public Works type projects.
• Proven expertise in the installation and inspection of sewer and storm drain systems, utility infrastructure, and trac control measures.
• Strong working knowledge of City of Los Angeles and County of Los Angeles Standards.
• Ability to work eectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Requires a detail-oriented professional with extensive eld experience and a strong commitment to safety and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections for the installation of sanitary sewer systems and storm drains, including related structures, in accordance with City and County of Los Angeles Standards.
• Oversee the installation of underground wet and dry utilities, working within or for various Southern California regional agencies.
• Perform inspections for the installation of street lighting and trac signal systems, following the specications set by the City of Los Angeles Bureau of Street Lighting and the Los Angeles Department of Transportation.
• Ensure compliance with multi-phased, site-specic trac control plans, with a strong emphasis on pedestrian safety and routing.
• Collaborate professionally within a large team of inspectors.
• Apply extensive knowledge of City of Los Angeles Standard Plans/Specications and the
• Standard Specications for Public Works Construction (Greenbook).
• May assume other duties as required/needed.
• Maybe required to work various shifts as needed.
• The position will require the candidate to have the ability to transit to, from, and between project sites.

Preferred skills and abilities:

• Computer and software skills related to MS Office- Word, Excel, Project, Office 365, PowerPoint.
• E-Builder or BlueBeam a plus.

Salary:

$ 138,000 - $145,000 Annually

Bonus Pay:

A bonus may be granted to employees depending on individual performance, employee utilization, attendance, tenure, and furtherance of other non-financial corporate goals; bonus opportunities are available at management's discretion.
