Role Description 

Get Flooring is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager / Head of Production to join our team in the Greater Chicago Area. This is a full-time hybrid role, (remote office work, periodically check in on construction sites when needed), offering flexibility! The Construction Project Manager / Head of Production, will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing daily operations across three key departments: Estimation, Budgeting & Procurement, and Installations. This leader will be responsible for ensuring seamless coordination between teams, improving operational efficiencies, and delivering top-quality service to our clients. This role will be a part of the leadership team and play a pivotal role in company growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all aspects of production, including project estimation, budgeting, procurement of materials, and installation execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

• Develop and implement strategic processes that enhance workflow efficiency, minimize errors, and improve service quality.

• Lead and mentor department managers and teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

• Optimize procurement and inventory management to maintain cost-effectiveness while ensuring timely material availability.

• Monitor project performance and proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks, risks, and inefficiencies.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies to maintain a safe and productive work environment.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer service, and finance, to align production strategies with company goals.

• Utilize data-driven insights and KPIs to measure performance, drive decision-making, and enhance the overall client experience.

• Maintain strong relationships with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to optimize supply chain and installation quality.

• Spearhead process improvements and innovation to support company growth and scalability.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in construction project management.

• Experience in the Flooring Industry is preferred.

• Proven ability to manage multiple departments and drive operational excellence.

• Strong background in estimations, budgeting, procurement, and installation management.

• Experience with project management tools, scheduling software, and cost control systems.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Physical Requirements

• Must have the ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.

• Must be able to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and via digital platforms.

• Must be able to lift and carry office supplies, files, or equipment weighing up to 25 pounds occasionally.
