Your Role:

  • Execute engineering design and drafting services for the Airports Group who provides services coast to coast to coast.
  • Provide technical assistance to project teams and complete related calculations.
  • Perform digital terrain modeling, volume calculations and preparation of profiles and sections using Autodesk Civil3D software.
  • Prepare project design/tender/construction drawing sets including surface models, site plans, cross-sections, profiles, drainage, paint markings, construction details, and material quantity takeoff.
  • Prepare report figures and drawings, surfaces, site plans, cross-sections, profiles, and material quantity calculations.
  • Prioritizing work and ensuring all processes and presentation follow company standards.
  • Working closely with other engineers, technologists, specialists and drafting personnel in a team environment to make sure all project deadlines and targets are met.
  • Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.
  • Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness.
  • Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns.
  • Additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Possession of a post-secondary certificate/diploma from a recognized technical school.
