The Town of La Conner Public Works Department has an immediate opening for a full time Laborer position. A position in this classification will be represented by Teamsters Local 231.

This position pays $27.89 per hour plus benefits.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Education and Qualifications

Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school and one year experience with a public works department or experience in a maintenance, repair, or construction field. License and other requirements

Applicants must possess a valid Washington State driver’s license and must have or the ability to obtain within eight months of hirer flagger certification, Genie Z- lift training, and first-aid/CPR certificate.

Knowledge and abilities Knowledge of accepted work procedures involving job site safety, equipment operation and maintenance, scheduling and record keeping. Completed applications and a resume must be received no later than 3:00 p.m. April 14, 2025.
