Maintenance Supervisor

  • Electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical experience.
  • The supervisor will be responsible for coordinating preventive maintenance (PM), work orders, and troubleshooting, while ensuring that machinery, equipment, and systems are maintained to meet production goals and safety standards. 
  • Experience with preventative maintenance.

Job Responsibilities

  • Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance.
  • Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work.
  • Recruit, supervise and train maintenance technicians.
  • Contribute to the development of maintenance budget and ensure compliance.
  • Monitor inventory of materials and equipment.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations.
  • Provide solutions for equipment failures to minimize downtime.
  • Manages the repair, installation and maintenance of machinery, conveyors and equipment and the physical building to minimize downtime.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on machinery.
  • PLC troubleshooting
  • Electrical troubleshooting, repair and install.

 

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as maintenance supervisor or similar role.
  • Manage a team of mechanics.
  • Understanding of Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and Electrical process in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and practices in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations.
  • Understanding of budgeting and performance management.
  • Excellent planning and leadership abilities.
  • Excellent reading, communication, and organizational skills.
