Position Summary
The Electrical Engineering Technician shall be skilled in construction, assembly, fabrication and test of electric, electronic and mechanical prototypes and products.
Capabilities
Interpret schematics and block diagrams to assemble boards and systems using various tools and measuring instruments
Independently perform tests and document the tests results, following an approved test plan
Write specifications, reports and technical manuals
Prepare, order, track and inventory parts lists
Work with and take direction from Electrical Engineers and Systems Engineers
Required Experience
Secret Clearance
Four (4) years experience in construction, assembly, fabrication and test of electrical, electronic and mechanical prototypes and products.
Electrical Engineering associates degree or related technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
Certification in IPC-J-STD-001 and IPC-A-620
Self-Motivated, problem solver.
