Civil Engineer / Project Management Engineer

Summary:

Our team is looking for multiple Civil Engineer / Project Management Engineers at ALL LEVELS of experience to work out of one of multiple offices in NJ on our client team.  These are long-term roles, with the strong expectation of career and skill growth!

Responsibilities:

• Develop site plans, construction drawings, and design documents
• Research and analyze zoning ordinances, permit requirements, and land development regulations
• Prepare land development permit applications and supporting calculations/reports, including:
  • Stormwater management
  • Sanitary sewer and water service
  • Flood hazard assessments
  • Soil erosion control
• Collaborate with the design team to track project progress and workload
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies, architects, and other consultants to ensure compliance and approvals
• Conduct occasional field visits to observe construction activities and site conditions
• Draft technical reports, letters, and other correspondence as required
• Perform additional duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Civil Engineering (BSCE)
• Engineer in Training license / Professional Engineer License nice to have
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for design work
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented, punctual, and eager to learn
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
