Shelby Construction is a dynamic general contractor specializing in both residential and commercial projects. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Site Supervisor to join our team.
As a Site Supervisor, you will play a critical role in overseeing all aspects of construction projects, from pre-construction to final punch-out. Your responsibilities will include managing subcontractors, ensuring project timelines and budgets are met, maintaining quality standards, and fostering strong client relationships.
Ideal candidates will possess:
- Proven experience in construction management, including pre-construction, framing, blueprint reading, punch list creation, shop drawing review, renovations, change order management, cost estimating, and takeoffs.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
- Strong leadership abilities to motivate and direct teams towards project success.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Proficiency in building codes and industry standards.
- The ability to problem-solve and make sound decisions under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day site operations and ensure adherence to project plans and schedules.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractor activities to achieve project goals.
- Maintain a safe and clean job site in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks.
- Effectively communicate project progress and challenges to clients and management.
- Contribute to the development of project estimates and budgets.
