Position Summary: MIINC LP is seeking a skilled and dynamic Mechanical Project Manager to oversee and manage our commercial mechanical and plumbing projects. This position requires a results-driven leader with a strong commitment to the company's Mission, Vision, Values, and Quality Statement, and who thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will embody Servant Leadership, cultivating a culture of trust, accountability, and performance excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Culture: Provide leadership aligned with MIINC LP's mission, vision, and values, fostering a culture of Servant Leadership to empower the project team and drive results.
  • Project Management:
    • Take full profit and loss responsibility for the management of commercial mechanical and plumbing projects, ensuring successful outcomes in terms of scope, budget, and schedule.
    • Oversee and continuously evaluate the effectiveness of the project team, from estimating turnover through to project completion.
    • Lead adherence to MIINC's established project management processes, ensuring team performance is aligned with key metrics and KPIs.
    • Effectively manage project scope, develop budgets, mitigate risks, manage schedules, and supervise labor and field operations, including the project superintendent and crew.
    • Ensure excellence in project documentation, change orders, and retention collection, maintaining the integrity of the project’s financials.
  • Financial Oversight: Collaborate with Accounts Payable and Receivable teams to ensure the timely funding of MIINC and its subcontractors and vendors, maintaining strong cash flow and financial management throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Team Collaboration: Build and nurture a team environment, promoting engagement and buy-in from field teams to meet project goals and objectives.
  • Business Development: Utilize existing relationships and actively pursue new business opportunities by establishing connections with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and potential partners.
  • Customer Focus: Ensure the successful delivery of safe, high-quality, and profitable solutions to customers, while maximizing customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to manage complex projects and overcome challenges.
  • Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in estimating, scheduling software, and project management tools (e.g., Sage, Bluebeam, Excel).
  • Experience: Demonstrated success in managing commercial mechanical and plumbing projects, with a proven track record of delivering on scope, budget, and schedule.
