Floor Layer

FLOOR LAYER/FLOOR TECHNICIAN/ATHLETIC SURFACE INSTALLERS-
Position Description: Miller Sports is seeking experienced floor layers/flooring technicians/athletic surface installers. Installers are responsible for all aspects of the surface installation and finishing process. Installed surfaces include, wood, resilient, turf, track, and urethane. Candidates must be willing to travel (primarily Mid-Atlantic region).

Responsibilities Include:

• Installation of athletic surface(s)
• Layout of flooring and game lines
• Ability to communicate, problem solve and work within a crew
• Some overnight travel is required (primarily Mid-Atlantic region)

Experience/Technical Skills Required:

• 1 to 2 years’ experience with residential/athletic flooring.
• Surface/floor maintenance experience.
• Requires physical work with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently and 100+ pounds as a team lift.

Installers Needed For:

• Wood Sport Systems (installers/Sanders/Painters)
• Resilient (Rubber/Mondo/Sport Court/Etc.)
• Track (Pour-in-place/Recoat/Spray)
• Turf (Indoor/Outdoor)
• Court (Acrylic coating systems-Tennis/Pickleball/Basketball/Hockey)
