November 2018 Construction Industry Report [INFOGRAPHIC]

The number of new construction jobs added to iHireConstruction in November fell by nearly 60,000 from October’s numbers. This significant drop was driven by a reduction in opportunities for skilled trades professionals, primarily carpenters and electricians. Fortunately, this decline in new jobs didn’t translate to the number of active jobs on iHireConstruction, which only decreased from 93,782 in October to 86,574 in November.

The number of candidates searching for work on iHireConstruction continues to grow, with nearly 30,000 professionals joining over the past month to bring the construction job seekers total to 1,074,306. Project managers/construction managers continue to top the list of talent with more than 100,000 registered users with that title, followed by foreman/supervisor job seekers (82,399), carpenters (60,128), and welders/fabricators (60,027).
