Position Overview:
We're seeking a high-end, experienced carpenter/builder with a strong background in residential construction and remodeling. This role requires someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, respectful, and capable of working independently or with a small crew on-site.
Types of Projects You’ll Work On:
- Kitchens and bathrooms
- Flooring, windows, siding
- Decks and porches
- Home additions, garages, and pole barns
- Custom homes and church builds
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all phases of residential carpentry: framing, siding, trim, decking, and finish work
- Read and interpret plans and blueprints
- Maintain high standards of quality and detail
- Work efficiently both independently and as part of a small team
- Ensure job site cleanliness and safety
- Communicate professionally with crew and clients
Requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 years of carpentry/building experience
- Strong framing, siding, and finish carpentry skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Own basic carpentry tools
- Ability to travel within Maine (typically under 2 hours from Sabattus)
- Punctual, reliable, and professional work ethic
- Available for consistent full-time or part-time work
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
