We are a commercial wall and ceiling contractor who specializes in Metal Stud Framing, Drywall, Painting, EIFS, Plaster, Fireproofing, Exterior Cladding. We are looking to hire a Painting Estimator to be apart of our team. The Estimator would report to our Project Management Staff or Chief Estimator.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain thorough records of all project documentation plans, specs, and estimates;
• Assist sales team in final project preparation transactions;
• Present estimates to project managers in a timely and polite manner;
• Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and architects during estimate creation to ensure overall accuracy;
• Attend walkthroughs and pre bid meetings as necessary;
• Fulfill client appointments in a timely manner;
• Read blueprints and analyze all other applicable documents to prepare estimates;
• Assess projects by identifying project requirements, regarding time, labor, and material costs;
• Recommend cost-reduction options.

Requirements:

• Ability to operate independently or with a crew;
• Critical thinking, analytical, and organizational skills;
• Associate's or Bachelor’s degree required;
• Interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal;
• Time management skills;
• Voluntary certification in the field is a plus;
• Previous on-the-job training is a plus.
