M-D is currently seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer with expertise in Firmware Development and Electronic Testing. We are looking for a detail-oriented and innovative Program Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in firmware engineering and electronics testing, playing a key role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and performance of our electronic products.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement firmware for electronic devices from initial concept to production.
• Write and optimize code for performance and power efficiency.
• Debug and resolve firmware issues to ensure functionality and reliability.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for firmware and electronic components.
• Perform system-level testing to validate hardware and firmware integration.
• Document test results and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
• Work closely with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration of firmware and hardware.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement firmware requirements.
• Assist in resolving hardware and firmware compatibility issues.
• Maintain detailed documentation of firmware designs, test procedures, and test results.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in firmware development and electronics testing or 4+ years of experience as an engineer building firmware applications and electronic testing.
• 2+ years of experience working with C and C++ languages on large data sets.
• Strong understanding of hardware-software integration and embedded systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:

• Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and network protocols.
• Experience with Legacy, or willing to learn, is a plus
• Familiarity with tools and methodologies for automated testing.
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in firmware development.
